Creativity

Comes and goes when she pleases.

Never asks permission

Never asks forgiveness

Sometimes she stays for dinner,

Other times she sneaks into the night

Steals my sleep, leaves a piece of her behind

She frustrates me when she's gone,

Distracts me when she's here

Never stays forever, but

She refuses to dissappear

Hardly predictable, I'm typically prepared

Yet she always catches me by surprise
