I hold the power of life in my blood. I am a woman of the craft. So lock me in a room and cut off my locks, deny me my strength and leave me a powerless sack of bone. Call me insane, doctor, hand me my elixir. I will grow, I will make. I will watch you burn by the fire in my eyes and relish in the beauty of my destruction. Take my hand, doctor, and heal me. Listen to the quiet beat of my heart. Let it soothe your fear. Do not worry, I am alive, do not underestimate. I am not the first women forged from Adams rib. You cannot take my will and make it wrong. I am alive, doctor, but I was not created. I am alive, doctor, but I do not live. Don’t deny me my strength and weaken me with your power. Let me destroy. I will breathe fire and give birth to death.

This was inspired by my day to day life as a woman living in a world where women are constantly repressed.
