The Creator Himself

To my ears to my feet, to my head to my knees, you think that I am flawless.

How can this be? I am but far, far from the definition of perfection.

You knew me in the womb, you know me now, and still think that I am flawless.

This is a mistake I have committed so many wrongs. You must think that I am a mistake.

But no, you see my mistakes and my wrongs and still think that I am flawless.

So what now? Do I have your unfailing love? Because I know I do not deserve it.

Yet, you give it to me, you show it to me, and you unveil it to me every single day I take a breath in this corrupted world.

I am now at a state of repentance, you love me despite my sinful soul, and you still think that I am flawless.

It’s not that I am physically flawless it’s looking past my flaws and still realizing I am a soul worth loving.

So thank you, thank you again and again. The fact that I have your love is all I need in this world.

Your love is what gets me through the day, your love is what encourages me to be better, and your love is what makes me flawless.
