The Creature of Loch Ness

There in the storm, Can you see the murky form? To be honest it’s quite surreal. Her majestic shape and silent wake, Now missing, what does legend reveal? Nessie’s her name, A monster she’s called, But is she truly evil? The sailors that came, Some bearded some bald, They claimed they were her equal. Their nets were strong, Their spears were sharp, These men could outsmart a weasel. But with motives wrong, And greed in heart, Their intentions were purely lethal. She fought for her home, She fought for her life, Guarding her nest like an eagle. Now where did she go, And why does she hide, I say it’s because of people.
