Criminal

i have been running and running

but i haven't even passed the starting line

i don't got a goal in mind

it would be pointless to have one

i'm just ready to go some place

anywhere but here

where all my demons reside

Everybody knows me for who i was

not who i am today

im looking for a new beginning

for a place nobody knows

they won't have my past to hold against me

I'll be free from the boundaries

my mistakes set for me

My heart has hardened

to the people around me

i see nothing but judgement in their eyes

They have built me into a monster

yet they don't even know my name

they've all seen the news lines

they don't the story

im ready to escape get to a better place

but my past is holding me back

hindering me helpless
