Criminal of Mind

My thoughts flicker around my mind like subway trains in the dark Never staying in order Never still If one was to enter my mind on any given day The fate of your own sanity would be at risk My thoughts would imprint onto your skin From foot to head my own imperfections would cover you I would never invite someone to have the experience of feeling what I feel It would be a crime My hands would be cuffed Send me to a crowded county jail cell Let me rot for causing indirect pain No one should have to endure Feeling pain with such great severity That they must drown out their thoughts With copious amounts of whiskey and cigarettes
