Crisis

The commodification of sadness

Creates a complexity of response

In a capitalist society that cannot

Understand its own trauma.

The calamity of the contemporary moment

Causes the effect of curating only

A crucifixion of the simulacra

That clamour on the cusp of spectacle.

Contemporary minds and current

Cohesions between what counts as

Curable catastrophe and crumbling apocalypse

Cultivate only a condition of change.

A crisis.

That’s all.
