Crisscross My Past
Everyone wonder what my story is
cause I never tell it. In kindergarten
I cut my hair just to make friends ,
I have always done things just to fit in .
My life isn't peaches and cream .
Just because I have foamposites
doesn't mean my parents is bringing
in green . My parents just made sure i was happy
with a couple of materialistic things cause
love don't cost a thing .
I'm not as confident as you think .
Yeah , I might sit here and say I'm the baddest
thing ever ; but that doesn't mean i'll think
that forever . I'm not Trina .
In elementary school being me wasn't easy ,
but as I grew up people started to love
me for who I am and not who they
want me to be .
So here I am now.
11th grade , 16 years old ,
still working on my goals .
See now I'm back on track like I'm
on a railroad . I love myself for who
I am and now it's time to
Crisscross my past
and get out of here .
