The Cross! The cross!
A punctuation mark of God
In history lies in shape of the cross
The cross an idol it’s not
A religious story it’s not
It’s not sentimental nonsense
Neither it is a cliche
It is historic and real
Impossible it is to attain the glory of the cross
Without the agony of the cross
Bounty of righteousness does the cross introduce
The cross! It’s too important
To be left to theologians
The cross! Stirs our indignation
The cross! Stirs our admiration
The cross! A true reflection of His love
He went down a criminal
And rose a King
Which reveals his divinity and humanity
It kicked of the hell-bound of men
Takes away our punishment
And offered us His righteousness
The cross! God’s addiction sign (+)
For saving the world
The cross! ….the cross!
