CROSSROAD THOUGHTS

Since you walked out
Of my sight and reach,
I've been feeling so low.
Within my soul's confines.

With a heavy heart
And anguishing memories
I've times without number
Bathed in tears of regrets.
Reminiscing our long gone -
Memories ...

A couple of weeks now,
Sleeping on a soaked pillow
Full of tears and loneliness
Imagining of how our gists were
And how life was fun with you,
Beside me ...

I've remained in a crossroads
Asking my innocent self
Unlimited questions of life -
Possibilities.
Whether the wind will ever blow-
My way again, and bring with it,
A fresh pure gem like you.

Or
Should I let it go
And like a fresh orphan,
Learn to heal and move on-
The hard and only way.
Awaiting for what life holds for me
To unfold in its fullness of time?
