The Crossroads

And the boy said:

Decisions, decisions

Should I spend my life in quiet contemplation?

Or should I take up the mantle and help my nation?

This crossroads full of blessed complexities;

Life’s greatest decision perpetually perplexes me.

Glory and Duty

Or awareness and contentment

The wrong choice will surely lead to resentment.

A sculptor of the soul

Or a manager of the masses

A canvas left unpainted

Pure and innocent, a virgin untainted

Decisions, decisions

Tread lightly for there are no room for revisions.
