crossroads

i don't know what to do,

i feel that moving

one way or the other

will cause a

chain-of-events-i-can't-control-please-make-it-stop

so i don't move,

so i'm stuck.

i'm not sure how to unstick myself,

because

everything

weighs too heavily on my shoulders,

hardens the pit in my stomach,

sullies the ache in my heart

which way do i go?

Honest and eloquently written. Look at my " dilemma" poem, there are many similarities. I think that a lot of people the world over feel this way now... But this poem is so impactful, it can apply to various situations... the personal, society, politics, mental health... This is thought-provoking.
