The Crow

I always hear that sound,

am I bound,

hearing closer and closer,

it comes faster and faster,

shall I run,

toward the sun,

to feel the light,

no because now is night,

it follows me,

to land or sea,

it is the very bird,

evil of the world,

a black,evil crow,

that sound makes my pain grow,

Stop! Please leave me alone,

but before it is gone,

before I step into my door,

at last it said nevermore.
