The Crowd
murmers stand in line with us
sun rays bounce off our shoulders
summer skin and painted arms
jean shorts and flower crowns
murmers grow among the fuss
flavors stick to our tongues
smiling faces and neon colors
waving hands and empty rows
murmers sing then shout then hush
night falls over the forgotten ones
a thousand lights all alone
now together with the guitars song
