In A Crowd

As I look around me

All I see

Is a cheap imitation

Of ecstasy

There are those who believe

They've experienced life

But their eyes are dull

Where is the light?

Surely there is more for me

This can't be it

Please set me free

From this awful cage

Of plastic smiles

Of truth behind lies

Of those who beguile.
