The Crown

The Crown

She was born small and weak

a little girl who very soon would be able to speak

a little girl raised with love and care

this little girl is an heir.

For you see, her mother is a queen and her father a king,

a beautiful partnership that was able to bring

forth a little baby, stong and brave

this little girl would not be a slave.

She would not be opressed she would not be crushed

she would not be beaten to the ground and then be hushed

this little girl has shed tears

this little girl has fears.

The world has knocked her down

and tried to take away her crown

they tried to take away her hope

hoping to lead her on a downward slope.

But she was strong

many tried to do her wrong,

but she always comes out on top

and all that hate and negativity eventually will drop.

Her strength requires true gritf

she has taken hit after hit,

but yet she remains intact

and she will remain that way, take it as a fact!
