Crown of Tears

That ever-present feeling of agony, That slowly creeps up on me, Is a feeling that does not falter Even when I am pleased. I wonder and ponder the reasons why, I worry and panic for my life. A feeling profound, engraved in my heart, That is twisting and ripping my emotions apart. He challenges the others to fight for the crown But in every battle, he wins each round. It won't let go of its hold, It wants to overpower my soul. At the end of the war, sorrow won.
