the crucible

She looked at me and asked,

"What will your change be?"

Will it be the power

Will it be the greed

Should I redeem the battered women of the planet

Or should I restore the enviroment to the way God planned it.

Can I feed the starving minds of the children I have passed

Or can I assure the doubt of the world's souls once trashed

Would I ever be more than a stat on a spectrum

Or would I ignite the fire that would make the heart of my whole generation drum.

I don't know

But I'm postive without a doubt,

Until I change myself I cannot figure this out.
