The cruel winter
O winter!
You seem to me a hunter and to you, I am a helpless prey
I hide myself in the leaves of a tree
But autumn takes the leaves away from me
Will you not let me live?
As I am so sinful to you
That you will not me forgive
Let me breathe, I beg you
I want to see the coming summer
That will sweat me like a drummer
I want to play the drum of my life
Through all this winter's night
If I can beat it with the arms
That are broken and harmed
I'll play it to my last minute
Untill I am finished.
