Cruelty

I am.

What am I?

I wonder every day with no apparent response.

My fears, my thoughts, my dreams

They all seem to be in vain

For every attempt I make to change the world..

I fail.

Why is the world so cruel?

To the poor, to the desperate, to the forgotten

It isn't fair I shout

But no one ever listens

For this world is too selfish..

This world is too cruel.

If one thing i could change

Would be the eyes of this world.

With a ray of light open their eyes to reality

And bring hope and peace to all around us

For sooner or later..

This cruelty will be the end of all of us.
