Crumpled

Everyone's faking it to some degree

To hide those secrets

The ones they don't want you to see.

The scabs over things that made their heart bleed

When you peel back that mask of "being ok",

And you see what they've been through

The pain, the wars

Your hearts break together

In a beautiful fusion

That's quiet like snow

Of two crumpled hearts that are now
not alone.
