crush
As I walk past him my cheeks turn red,
I say hello but he ignores it instead
I wonder how we would cuddle in his bed
Or how his hand would fit in mine,
My heart is in a bind.
I stand frozen as he stands in front of me in line,
If only he knew what was going on in my mind.
At the end of the day I came to find,
Him kissing a girl under the baseball sign.
I guess that’s why they call it a crush,
Because in the end it's all just a bust.
A combinations of emotions and hormones
That cause a painful end.
But make you learn the difference between your feelings
and your dreams.
I just wish it didn't hurt as much.
