Crushed

The look you gave me

The smile that crept across your face

The way you wiped my fallen tears from my cheek

You made me feel as if i was at home

As if nothing mattered but my happiness

But I said this aloud

And your smile grew

Wider and wider as you walked away

And the way you left me there

The way you left me there hopeless

Crushed me.
