Crushing

I prefer this playfulness.

The little spots of joy and success.

Far better than assuredness.

With assuredness comes comfort.

From comfort, monotony springs.

This is excitement.

Giddy, like childhood.

I haven’t even met you!

This is good.

I will wait.

We both have it in our blood, yet we yearn for more.

I am a patient thing.

I can hold on.

This stage is beautiful, and frustrating-

Still it shouldn’t be surpassed.

It’s the natural order.

And soon enough I’ll know.

We might know.

But now I cannot make such a leap.

"Take risks!"

The profits preach, but this is a vital time.

The revving up.

The butterflies.

The adrenaline rush.

I live for this.

And soon I will get up gumption to do something more.

It is alright for now; a good place to be in.

Just know I love you- that’s all I’m capable of revealing.
