Crutches

The road to your soul is rocky

My thoughts of you are shaken

I still don’t think you dream about me

Dear, I hallucinate all the smiles I’ve mistaken

For “I love you”s and “I want you”s

I get so delusional thinking

You’d want me for more than a moment

You’ve got me unthinking

Every wish I began believing

Every kiss, every touch

Do you dream about me, Baby?

Or am I just your crutch
