The Cry
A trembling cry preys
upon the unsuspecting matte caves
dark against a silhouetted night.
Ay! To be free!
To be free!
A starved cry,
famished by the oppression
of a silent tongue.
Ay! To be free!
To be free!
The night cowers beneath
the blanket of heavy vibrations, knowing
no soul can hide from a starved hunter.
Ay! To be free!
