Cry

The world seems to be against you,

And everything goes wrong just when it begins to go right,

The sun is awake yet it still feels like night,

You believed that no one could save you from your plight,

So now look into the darkness and notice my light,

I will be here for you if you need me.

It is okay to cry sometimes,

Because tears are silent prayers,

To a God that is waiting to save you,

But you made the mistake of thinking He will forsake you.

Please just let someone save you,

Even if I have to be the hand of God to you,

I am fine with that.

You are going to cry,

To feel like you died,

Because the pain shows that you are alive,

Please believe that there is a light deep inside,

Please believe that there is a reason for your life,

Please just believe.

Because tears are real,

They're what you feel,

We are humans,

And we hurt,

We fall,

We fail,

But please believe,

That love will prevail.

You may cry today,

But tomorrow will be better,

It is okay to show emotion,

And admit that you don't always have it together.

Please believe that life is more than what you see with your eyes,

So don't be afraid to cry.
