A CRY FOR FREEDOM

You have the words to heal the world But you're biting your tongue Afraid of civil wrongs You spend a life time stuck in silence Afraid to say the truth, cos you getting judged If no one ever hears it, how is gonna change the world? So come on, come on Come on, come on You have got a voice to roar as loud as lions So why let your voice be tamed? For the fear of treasonable charges Crime of seeking freedom for your own people They take your liberty and give you tyranny Do we take death as a solution cos we fear living? You've got the light to fight the shadows So stop hiding it away I don't believe in governments as saviors We the people are our own liberators Revolution is our right But we are oppressed for speaking out So we loose our dignity in silence Truth is, the people are never as weak as they think they are But until they feel and breathe their own power Come on, come on I wanna scream 'til the world hears me So put it in all of your voices We cant keep living in fear And dying in pain Dedicated to End Sars 8 Oct 2020 – Tue, 20 Oct 2020
