Why does love hurt so much

Why do you let us get so close to the ones we have to leave

One year now family leaves me for the lord

Five years now holds my heart but chooses to love the same

His word is what separates you from me

God i wish for you to be my king

Fours years my love holds deep but you choose to love everything

God your word i will obey

Six years now apart of me you’ve watched me grow

You’ve danced your way into a room in my heart called brother

His word says i mustn't love another

Two years a man on fire for the lord and a woman proud of her husband

But the end times are near and now you must go

Father why do we hold so close the ones you say must go, no
