Cry for help

Smiling eyes turn to backwards cries for help

in a world that is blind to self where is the help

is it god is it government in this time of need

why do we feel the need to stick with greed

as a bed we sleep in it's cold out there

in the world of forgotten cries

hid behind national lies

they close our mouths as we remain blind

with rights given that have supposedly been granted

but to our knowledge a privilege

as they uphold the rights they say we own

we cry in need of shelter

after they take away our homes

keeping the secret of our upper hand from us,

cause they know the laws, and my history that denotes who I really am

we can only dream a dream of a world that our cry of help

will be a ring from heaven where paradise is free where we all be free.
