Cry Now, Smile Later

Location

Crying doesn’t solve problems

But it will make you feel better

That’s why we cry on others’ shoulders

That’s why our pillow is soaked at night

That’s why the next day we can smile

Crying is rough and dangerous

It gives you a headache

It relieves heartache

And the more something hurts, the harder you cry

But you try to conceal it so no one will ask why

Crying can be a choice, a habit

Or a painful reflex when you get hurt

People either make us cry or let us cry

Others cry with us

And some even cry for us

Crying can be damaging or healthy

Doing it too much can make you lonely

But just enough helps you deal with struggles

So let yourself cry because there’s no shame in

Emotional, physical, and spiritual relief
