The Cry Of War

Location

War, meaning to bring more gain,

only to cause much more pain.

Seeing the tears.

Feeling the pain.

Hearing the cries, the cry of war.

A child, climbing out of her broken bed,

Only to hear that her father is dead.

Seeing the tears.

Feeling the pain.

Hearing the cries, the cry of war.

A man, laying paralyzed half-dead,

As the ground around him is stained red.

Seeing the tears.

Feeling the pain.

Hearing the cries, the cry of war.

A mother, crying out to the heavens 'why'

Wondering why her son had to die.

Seeing the tears.

Feeling the pain.

Hearing the cries, the cry of war.

War, meaning to bring more gain,

Only to cause much more pain.
