Crybaby

We’re always told there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Turns out that was a lie.

He’s too deep for the ocean,

She’s too blue for the sky.

They’re too emotional

She can see the heavy tears fall from his eyes.

He knows.

Crybaby, crybaby, crybaby, cry

Crybaby, crybaby, why does she cry?

Is it because of the strawberry kisses and sunflower skies

He could see the truth that lies between her beautiful brown eyes.

She knows

She doesn’t believe in love,

She believes it’s just a disguise

For those who use

He doesn’t know how to love

That’s his excuse

“The feeling of love is just a mirage” she says

He thinks she is way above average

Their love is like

Frozen hearts next to unlit matches

Maybe he’s just an addict

For broken hearts

Peaceful nights filled with lonely stars

Virgin bodies filled with painful scars

Black and White is key

To amazing art

At least that’s what I’m told

Like the pot of gold

Now i say

Crybaby, crybaby, crybaby, cry

Crybaby , crybaby. Do you see why they cry?

In a world where we lost the line that divides over and lust, we all become crybabies after a few heartbreaks
