Crying Over Spilt Ramen

I know.

The yelling,

the lies,

his need for justification,

his excuses,

They all haunt you.

But not constantly.

Not anymore.

But they are never completely gone.

In fact,

these floating memories seem to find you,

when you are most vulnerable.

When you feel perfect, they tear you apart.

And next thing you know,

You are crying over the least of your worries,

  and avoiding your biggest ones.
