A Crying Sky

Giant teardrops rained down from above

Like a woman mourning her true love.

Because that evil woman lied,

Her true love had gone and died.

As she lay awake in bed, the sky cried.

Mournful sobs escape her lips;

His shirt is clutched in her fingertips.

Huddled up into a ball,

She wants to slam into a wall.

As she lay awake in bed, the sky cried.

While the sun lights up the sky,

People lie, and people die.

The woman and cries and yelps in pain

At the cause of the ever-present rain.

As she lay awake in bed, the sky cried.
