Crying War

Darkness falls upon the sky

And for most the day is done

Time to say their last goodbye

Until the rising of the sun

I won’t ever go to sleep

 My day will never end

All night long I have to weep

Over the loss of my only friend

I fight while the moon rules the sky

Flying planes above the city

As I drop the bombs I wonder why

No one else thinks it’s a pity

Lives are lost and children die

But the war never ends

I will fight and I will cry

Until I can save my friends
