Crystal

The crystal intact does shine Radiating hues of Red and Blue A lake if emotions and a River of tears Contained in an impenetrable crystal fortress Locked Bound Chained Tortured Never again to flow Never will you know What inside truly glows The hues of Red and Blue Till finally someone comes A soldier to shatter the walls Letting the feelings finally Flow Like the rolling of a crystal ball Twisting and turning The contents jumbling into form Slowly the fiercely flowing steam Slows, drop by drop Beginning to withdraw As the soldier drifts away The fading beauty Enchantment lifted as The memories fade The glimmer of the past, fading The waterfall finally Collapses Alas the once shattered crystal fortress pieces Come together Piece by piece Till they are again radiate red and blues The crystal intact, except the visible cracks From the temporary escape The journey of light and dark For now the crystal intact again Radiates a hue of sweet red wine Or the rainbow of desire Contained in now a Penetrable glass castle The lake of emotions within Waiting to let you Know what lies within.
