Crystal Castle - Byron
It's not the words you've written, but how I
envision them rolling off your tongue.
I see the tasty letters turn tides of
tenacious tidal waves that crash upon my
serenity.
They split the sea to cease the peril you
found me in.
Your words collaborate, satiate the thirst
for poetic ingenuity that my heart longs
for.
As I crawl on the shore of solitude, You
carry me, with your imagery, up the steps
of your crystal castle.
I feel it.
I feel the walls of your absolute structure
surround me in salvation as a beacon of
stable realities.
I feel the molecules of grace within the
halls infused with trust and isolation
that allowed my presence to be known.
I am enveloped with feelings of fear and
attraction, boundless infatuation over you.
I fear it.
I fear that I have fallen for an angel.
I fear that the doors of the crystal castle
will close in time before I get a
chance to enter.
I fear that my hands will grow a mind of
their own and take heaven by her hands.
I am afraid.
I am afraid that my body aches to touch
and hold a piece of heaven in my
arms and not let go.
I am afraid that my eyes will combust
from staring at the hues of light
that escape from your eyes as
heaven's eye shines upon them.
I am afraid that my lips desire to
collide with their counterpart
forever wedding me to their
beauty.
Should I muster up courage and face my fears?
