The Crystal Cathedral

Where Earth and Hell intersect,
A great wonder exists
In the dark of the Cave.

Its sight surmounted by few,
For nothing less of Creation
Can equal the Crystal Cathedral.

Past the narrow and dark tunnel,
Through layers of rock and Earth,
Stands the Palace of Quartz.

The Crystals jut like towers
Every inch of stone
Crystallised in beauty.

The Cavern, a Citadel of Light
The array of everlasting Color,
A million prisms in the Sun.

I stand in fascination,
Amongst Nature's art and structure
No praise could equal.

Mortal eyes be blessed,
By the Crystal Cathedral.
