A Crystal Glass

Decorated, delicately for show Not only a useful drinking aid But a piece to a dinner set. Wine, Champagne, Juice A beverage of preference Carried within this structure. A drop of liquid shall never slide If so be caught before the end Barrier that is a maze A scheme of colors, shine upon When a light hits, a disco ball shows Don’t drop this beautiful creation It will shatter to a billion pieces What a mess it would be. An open cylinder Thin around the lip, thick around the neck A skirt to the feet, little tiers in the middle Few are alike Gold rimmed As said to be crystal clear Just don’t drink with coke or beer.
