Crystal Rose

Thu, 04/24/2014 - 00:56 -- Severia

Crystal rose,

You reflect light so beautifully,

But how does it feel to have petals of stone and not of felt?

To hold no fragrance,

To not sway melodically in the winds’ breeze,

To only be a sturdy copy?

It is true, your counterpart will wither and decay,

Become no more,

Yet you will remain.

Stone cold and forever motionless.

Do you ever wonder what it’s like to be real?
