Cupid's mistake

Cupids mistake

I love thee as a hummingbird a flower dost.

Twas your eye that caught cupid's attention.

She prayed I'd find thee and blossom thy love.

Fain I did anon.

Twas not hard.

In love I fell at dawn.

"Thee has daring'st soul. Thou has not?

However, thou run the other way of a hummingbird's affection.

Wherefore, can't thou love thee as I do ?

"Hark hither" she said.

I interrupted.

"Ere thee says anything, can't thou simply

appreciate thy's beauty?

The most bravest, intimidated by thy's brown eyes."

"I cannot loveth the bird, if I dothn't love the flower" She said.

Confused by cupid's selection said I ,

"Tis what this is ?

A lost competition of love to thy self?

Thou's my moon my darling'st.

I'm thy wolf."

But she spoke,

"The wolf hathn't been loyal if thou had seen the sun,

the most bright star.

Thy moon 'tis pale compared to the sun's beauty."

I replied to thee ,

"Thy’s my only star, therefore worry not.

The wolf's appearance ''tis a stranger til' night."

The mistress' look was puzzled.

"Tis a new experience for me.

I shall push away warmth. I am ill" She said.

"And just like thy moon, I'll hath left unwillingly

when the sun kisses thy’s eyes."

Twas morning and to my love's destination went I.

Just like predicted, she left me.

My flower's petals were closed.

Twas the moment when I understood,

the cupid's aim was wrong.

She left this world without loving herself...
