Tell me what’s behind your smile I see it build up starting with your eyes And working slowly down your face Until those pearly whites submit to the air Give me your words Tell me your thoughts Allow me to step inside the box that many never approach I see the side-eye glance, Tell me what you want me to know Nothing more and nothing less Give me what you need me to have I’ll accept it and tend to it Nurturing it until you give me away
