Curious

When she awoke from her slumber,

Staring out the window

Wondered what was out there

Hearing the hums and voices,

That surrounded her everyday

Sounding like the chirping of a bird

How she wished to go out,

To glimpse at this glorious world,

But she couldn’t

She was told of monsters that roamed the outside.

But was willing to take the risk

Not knowing what would become of it
