Curly Sue

Curly Sue

My hair is my everything and it tells pieces of my story

My hair bounces with my every move and shows its glory

Curls, coils and waves

It paves my entire day

Looking at my hair its wild and has a mind of its own

Each piece of hair is without a clone

My hair it’s hard to tame

But it reflects my proclaim

Some days my hair may be big and some days small

Some days my hair even looks like a rag doll

Hair can change each and everyday

From Monday to Sunday

My hair has been short and long

But through and through it stays strong

I’ve dyed my dark hair to brown

But now the darkness grows out of my crown

Keeping up with my hair is a fulltime job

As it robs me of my money to buy hair products that feel that slop

My hair can be found almost everywhere

And it’s not like I don’t have a piece to spare

My hair has said a lot about me and has given me many nicknames

But I can never feel ashamed

My hair is my everything and greets people before I can

But it’s no business man

My story is reflected through my hair

And shows that I’m definitely not a square

My hair is my hair and no you can’t touch it

Hearing that question it makes my teeth grit

To some my hair may show low personal up keep or poor hygiene

But who are you to intervene

My hair is my everything and it tells pieces of my story
