Current Joys

The breeze is cold and crisp

The trees are colored with the sun

Short days, long nights, so much yet so little

Finding joy against the bitterness of the harsh light

They yell, they fight, they frown, with the world watching with glee

Past joys, current joys, future joys, does any of it exist?

When smiles cross my face, I look up at the Sun
