Cursed

God made the light

and there was no blight.

The earth did not know despair

and then God made a pair

that was to rule over all.

The serpent was so sly.

He wrecked it all with one lie.

God threw some curses around

and the pair had to leave the holy ground.

With no way back in,

because the entrance was guarded by a cherubim.

All was taken with one sin.
