Curtain Calls
Toes pointing up and down,
Spinning, leaping all around.
Legs lifting higher, higher,
Moving, swaying to the choir.
Practice, practice that's all it takes,
To show everyone your not a fake.
A voice loud and clear shouts places,
To their spots everyone races.
The curtain opens, the spotlight hits,
Your body starts to move, yet your mind is still.
Breathing deeply, everyone's clapping,
You were amazing, the crowd was blown away.
