Curtain fold

What could it hold?

Behind the curtain's fold.

Behind every act, every play, there are players and the played

behind the velvet, a game of secrets played.

What of it?

Behind the curtain's fold.

For all the players seem aware,

Few can undersand the scare

Forewarned of little, thrown in the mess.

What will be left?

Behind the curtain's fold.

Hollow shells, puppets, and props,

Holds full of makeup, mirrors and mildew.

Home to few but those left to tend it.

All lights are off. The stage is empty.

What more could there be?  Nothing of note now.

Behind the curtain's fold.
