A curve.

a representation,

of happiness,

of joy.

An expectation,

a formality,

a symbol

of kindness,

of innocence,

of warmth.

My curve,

my lie.

Lie of happiness,

of joy I cannot feel.

Their expectation.

I will comply.

I will lie.

My curve.

To heavy

for only one person.

I cannot keep it.

I await the inevitable.

My curve will leave.

Will leave me

with darkness,

with emptiness,

with nothing left inside.

My curve is strained.

My curve is fake.

My curve is full of longing,

for one who does not ask.

For the one who does not ask,

will be the only one

to see a curve within my eyes.
